This 1.5 hour class explores body systems, developmental patterns, and moving authentically. We capture the essence of what we discover in colour on paper and have a conversation about the meaning of our moving experience.
This is a moving meditation so you can connect deeply with yourself and understand non-verbal information coming to you from your bodily wisdom and that of others with whom you share the world.
A somatic practice is one where you pay attention to your whole self when moving. Noticing what happens to your breath, to your knee, to your kidney or left big toe when you do a big stretch to the side. I see how much energy I have today – I meet my limitations and honour where I am.
